The pose of the male figure and the red translucent spots on the paper add atmosphere and dynamics to this drawing.
Charcoal drawings are very different from drawings made with graphite pencil. Charcoal makes the lines softer, more fluid, more elastic and less sharp, as is typical for graphite lines.
That is why charcoal is one of my favorite mediums in art. Charcoal drawing is always very dynamic and has its own unique temperament.
Charcoal drawings are a very good fit as art decor for a home because they are very organic in their core and give harmony and calm dynamics to any space.
