...And my artistic journey continues, now in Amsterdam, Netherlands...
The transition was a bumpy road. Due to the war, the bureaucracy, my emotions and finances the decision to relocate to Amsterdam was pretty sudden to me. Will I be staying long in the Netherlands? Will I go back to Italy soon? – I do have no answers for these questions. Some things we just can't control in our lives.
Do I like it in Amsterdam? – Yes, I do. And as you know, I am a pretty optimistic person. So, even though I have to start way too many things from zero, I am enjoying new challenges and I am ready to face them.
How do I feel? – Like a plant that was taken out of the ground again, all the roots were cut off and it was put into another surface. – Everything should go from zero and hopefully up. Starting all over again with many many things. A new language to learn. New connections, acquaintances and hopefully friends to make. Artistic circles to find, meet and to dive into. Being a complete foreigner all over again. Exciting, isn't it!?But hey – there is a beauty in all of this. Learning. Understanding. Expanding horizons. (Just as example – Dutch will be my 5th language I will be speaking fluently in a very short time :)
I do not give up. And I thank you very much that you follow my artistic walk in life. Your support – physical or emotional – means a lot to me. Really. So, stay tuned for new artworks that now will be created in Amsterdam!
